Ray S. Hetrick, 52, of Berkley Heights, NJ., formerly of 719 Woodland Ave., Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, May 10, 1994 in West Plains, Mo. Mr. Hetrick was born April 30, 1942 in Punxsutawney, the son of Frank B. and Erma E. (Hartzell) Hetrick. He married the former Patty Johns and later married the former Barbara L. Orzepowski. A manager for Southwest Mobile Systems, he was a 1960 graduate of Punxsutawney High School and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in industrial engineering. He was a former resident of Erie.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Hetrick; two daughters: Angelia R. Hetrick of Berkley Heights, NJ., and Mrs. Marjorie Noele of Santa Clara, Calif.; three sons: Greg Hetrick of Holt, Fla., Todd Hetrick of Erie, and Airman First Class Mike Hetrick, with the U.S. Air Force in Florida; his mother, Mrs. Erma E. Hetrick of Punxsutawney; five sisters: Mrs. Thomas (Doramae) Yasolsky of Aliquippa, Mrs. June Hoffman of Murrysville, Mrs. Sally Skaruba of Murrysville, Mrs. Glenna McLaughlin of Murrysville, and Mrs. William (Cynthia) Jackson of Herndon, Va.; and a brother, Donald Hetrick of North Tonawanda, N. Y. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 15, 1994, at the Pifer Funeral Home of Punxsutawney, the Rev. J. Richard Hackenberry officiating. Interment was at Lakelawn Memorial Park, near Reynoldsville.
