According to a note from Pat Newcome his death was quite sudden - he collapsed on the stairs and died shortly afterwards. Pat added: I wanted to let you know. He LOVED coming up to the monthly get-togethers you all had, and felt very upset and down when he could not make it. Thank you for filling some of his happiest days and the ones he looked forward to so badly in his last few years. They were some of his best medicine.
I heard that when
Skip was told that Terry Gumbert had entered hospice, he began to sob. But life is uncertain.
Skip died on February 24, 2021, and Terry died on February 26, 2021, two days later. My sole comfort from this is that the two buddies from PAHS 60 are now at peace togther.
